From Romans 4
It was not through law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith.
For if those who live by law are heirs, faith has no value and the promise is worthless,
Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all.
This guarantee comes exclusively to those who believe in the God* who gives life to the dead, sight to the blind, hearing to the deaf, and who causes the lame to walk.
Makes right the wrongs, cleanses the unclean, purifies the impure, makes worthy the unworthy, makes just the unjust, honours the dishonoured, exalts the lowly and beatifies the unsightly.
Loves the unlovable, accepts those un-acceptable, lifts up the downcast, welcomes the outcast, rewards the losers, turns the failures into the achievers and the lowly into the mighty.
Reveals the unseen, declares the un-heard, transports the immovable. Blesses the cursed, makes Holy the defiled, and glorifies the ungodly.
